Experience in running a creative photography-based business through the venture that I started with my father, who is also a photographer. We own a vintage ‘photobooth’ that is hired for weddings and various events. My roles within the business include marketing, social media and the actual running of the booth at events.
Artist Statement
My practice covers a wide range of philosophical subjects, but often returns to themes of death, spirituality and relationships. I mostly create photographs using 35mm film and I enjoy working with traditional mediums as I really appreciate the physicality of the processes - I find that the interaction with the materials for me makes the outcome far more rewarding. Some artworks of mine have also arisen from the beauty I have found in situations that could be seen as destructive; whether it’s drug use and the creativity and altered perception that comes with that, relationships, or the death of a loved one whereby I try to find beauty in what has been left behind.
